2019
In 2019, Jolanda moved across the world for a job in Dubai. What she didn’t know at the time was that somewhere between agency deadlines, office coffees, and sitting two seats away from each other at BBDO, she was about to meet her favourite person in the world.
First photo togetherWhat started as colleagues slowly turned into friendship, then into the kind of love where you accidentally become inseparable.
The kind where there’s suddenly nobody else you’d rather tell every story to, travel with, eat dinner with, sit next to on the couch with, or do absolutely nothing with.
There were late-night drives, takeaway dinners, airport reunions, long conversations, ridiculous inside jokes, and somehow, over the years, a whole life built together.

The proposal
On a tiny island in the Seychelles, surrounded by impossibly blue water and a very dramatic sunset, Sherif proposed.
After briefly causing absolute panic by pretending to drop the ring box into the sand, he pulled out the real one moments later.
The answer was yes. Obviously.
Now, after years together in Dubai, they can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by all the people they love most.
